Malachi Mitchell is a soul-focused storyteller based in Queens, NY. He’s interested in tapping into the universal by confronting his ideas and themes with uncompromising honesty and empathy. His work can best be described as introspective and vulnerable while still being playful. He aims to examine the superficiality of the modern interactions of the digital world while creating spaces for genuine connection.
Born in Queens, Malachi (also known as Supreme Mali) studied creative writing at Binghamton University. Receiving a Bachelors degree for English with a Concentration in Creative Writing in 2021. During his time there, he started his media brand, Golden Kids NYC. Since graduating, Malachi’s writing has been seen in publications such as NYC Tastemakers, Worldwide Magazine, and Half Moon. He’s also in front of the camera for his podcast GOLDEN Radio and for his interviews he conducts for Half Moon.

GOLDEN Kids NYC is a media brand Malachi started in-between his Junior and Senior years of college. He created the Instagram page GOLDEN Kids NYC as an outlet for celebration and appreciation of art that Malachi founds inspiring. Over the next two years, it turned into a media brand with a podcast that Malachi hosts, engineers, and edits called GOLDEN Radio. In 2023 the brand is expanding, as Malachi plans on putting on live events in NYC under the brand name.
